Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Ramah Mustangs (Ramah, NM), 91-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Maxwell advances its record to 14-1 on the year. The Bears host Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM) to face the Grizzlies in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Grizzlies enter the match with a record of 3-7.
The Mustangs now own a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cliff for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. Ramah will face a Cowboys/Cowgirls squad coming off a 51-46 non-league loss to Maxwell (Maxwell, NM). The Cowboys/Cowgirls record now stands at 9-3.
