The Real Life Christian Academy Raptors basketball squad (Clermont, FL), was nudged 48-43 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Merritt Island Christian Cougars (Merritt Island, FL)

With the victory, Merritt Island Christian advances its record to 8-7 on the year. The Cougars travel to Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy (Lakewood Ranch, FL) to meet the Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 18. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 5-12. Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy lost 81-54 in their recent non-league battle against Brandon Academy (Brandon, FL)

The Raptors now own a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampden DuBose Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 18. Real Life Christian Academy will meet a Lions squad coming off a 75-28 non-league win over Innovation Montessori (Ocoee, FL). The Lions record now stands at 10-4.
