South Carolina High School Basketball - Military Magnet Academy overwhelms St. John's

The Military Magnet Academy Eagles basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting St. John's Islanders to 28 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now have a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lowcountry Leadership for a A Region 5 game on Friday, January 24. Military Magnet Academy will confront a NaviGators team coming off a 70-25 league loss to Cross (Cross, SC). The NaviGators record now stands at 1-12.

With the loss, St. John's falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Islanders travel to Branchville (Branchville, SC) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a A Region 5 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Yellow Jackets go into the game with a record of 4-9. Branchville lost 61-50 in their recent non-league game against Dorchester Academy (St. George, SC)
