South Dakota High School Basketball - New Underwood triumphant over Moorcroft

January 17, 2025: New Underwood, SD 57761

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the New Underwood Tigers (New Underwood, SD) and the visiting Moorcroft Wolves (Moorcroft, WY), observed New Underwood's basketball team overwhelm Moorcroft by a score of 71-42.

The Tigers (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Upton (Upton, WY). The Bobcats come into the non-league challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Upton trounced Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD), 51-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves encounter the Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Moorcroft will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 77-19 non-league win over Oelrichs (Oelrichs, SD).
