The Mt. Pleasant Kilties basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host North Kingstown Skippers to 49 in the Kilties league triumph on Friday.

The Kilties now have a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Classical for a Division I game on Tuesday, January 21. Mt. Pleasant will confront a Purple team coming off a 60-40 league win over Barrington (Barrington, RI). The Purple record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, North Kingstown falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Skippers host Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI) to confront the Hawks in a Division I game on Tuesday, January 21. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 6-5. Bishop Hendricken lost 62-30 in their recent non-league game against Pope Francis Prep (Springfield, MA)
