The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD) and the host North Central Thunder (Eureka, SD), observed Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven]'s basketball team overwhelm North Central by a score of 62-40.

The Battlers (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD). The Wolverines come into the B Region 6 challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Herreid/Selby was routed by Timber Lake (Timber Lake, SD), 58-29, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Thunder encounter the Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, SD) in a B Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. North Central will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 47-42 non-league win over Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD).
