Colorado High School Basketball - Rock Canyon routs Ponderosa

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Rock Canyon Jaguars basketball team scored a big 73-42 triumph over the Ponderosa Mustangs.

The Jaguars (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against George Washington (Denver, CO). The Patriots go into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, George Washington was trounced by Denver East (Denver, CO), 62-59, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a 6A/5A Continental contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Ponderosa will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the contest with a 9-4 record after their 85-60 league win over Heritage (Littleton, CO).
