The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Ridgedale Rockets (Morral, OH) and the visiting Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH), observed Ridgedale's basketball team knock off Upper Scioto Valley by a score of 71-56.

The Rockets (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Temple Christian (Lima, OH). The Pioneers come into the Northwest Central challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Temple Christian was knocked off by Ridgemont (Mount Victory, OH), 58-45, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams encounter the North Baltimore Tigers (North Baltimore, OH) in a Northwest Central challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Upper Scioto Valley will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 52-40 league win over Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH).
