St. John's Prep Red Storm (Astoria, NY) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Monsignor McClancy Crusaders (Queens, NY), 50-33 in a non-league match.
With the victory, St. John's Prep advances its record to 3-4 on the year. The Red Storm host Xavier (New York, NY) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. The Knights enter the match with a record of 1-2.
The Crusaders now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Edmund Prep for a non-league match on Friday, January 24. Monsignor McClancy will face a Eagles squad coming off a 49-46 league win over Salesian (New Rochelle, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 7-1.
