The Bensalem Fighting Owls basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting William Tennent Panthers to 48 in the Fighting Owls non-league triumph on Friday.

The Fighting Owls now have a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Bensalem will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 60-23 league win over William Allen (Allentown, PA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, William Tennent falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Upper Moreland (Willow Grove, PA) to confront the Bears in a Suburban One - Freedom game on Tuesday, January 21. The Bears go into the game with a record of 5-6. Upper Moreland lost 53-37 in their recent non-league game against Neshaminy (Langhorne, PA)
