In Friday's non-league test, the GEO Next Generation Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Carver Collegiate Academy Rams (New Orleans, LA), by a score of 51-41.
Next, the Tigers encounter the Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, January 22. GEO Next Generation will attempt to improve on its 17-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 5-7 record after their 74-53 league loss to St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA).
The Rams (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Frederick A. Douglass (New Orleans, LA). The Bobcats come into the 4A District 10 test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Frederick A. Douglass went down by Bourgeois (Gray, LA), 49-40, in a non-league test.
