The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Chelsea Academy Knights (Front Royal, VA), 62-28 in a non-league match.
With the victory, The Covenant advances its record to 10-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to face the Mavericks in a VISAA Blue Ridge match on Wednesday, January 22. The Mavericks enter the match with a record of 14-6. Miller School of Albemarle lost 56-36 in their recent non-league match against Winston Salem Christian (Winston-Salem, NC)
The Knights now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Evergreen Christian for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 22. Chelsea Academy will face a Eagles squad coming off a 73-52 non-league loss to Springdale Prep (New Windsor, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 8-9.
