Nebraska High School Basketball - Elmwood-Murdock triumphant over Conestoga

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Elmwood-Murdock Knights (Murdock, NE) and the host Conestoga Cougars (Murray, NE), observed Elmwood-Murdock's basketball team overwhelm Conestoga by a score of 58-31.

The Knights (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Tri County (DeWitt, NE). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Tri County trounced Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer (Humboldt, NE), 38-32, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Cornerstone Christian School Cougars (Bellevue, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Conestoga will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 35-31 non-league loss to Omaha Christian Academy (Omaha, NE).
