The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Ferriday Trojans (Ferriday, LA) and the visiting Delhi Charter Gators (Delhi, LA), observed Ferriday's basketball team overwhelm Delhi Charter by a score of 42-16.

The Trojans (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Ouachita Christian (Monroe, LA). The Eagles come into the 2A District 2 challenge with a 17-3 record. In their last challenge, Ouachita Christian was routed by Oak Grove (Oak Grove, LA), 52-19, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Gators encounter the Beekman Charter Tigers (Bastrop, LA) in a 2A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Delhi Charter will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-16 record after their 64-25 league loss to Rayville (Rayville, LA).
