Oregon High School Basketball - Glendale knocks off Elkton

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Glendale Pirates (Glendale, OR) and the visiting Elkton Elks (Elkton, OR), observed Glendale's basketball team overcome Elkton by a margin of 61-50.
The Pirates (4-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Riddle (Riddle, OR). The Irish come into the 1A Skyline challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, Riddle dropped by Powers (Powers, OR), 71-10, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Elks battle the Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs (Roseburg, OR) in a 1A Skyline challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Elkton will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 51-14 league win over Days Creek (Days Creek, OR).
