The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Negreet Indians (Negreet, LA) and the host Evans Eagles (Evans, LA), observed Negreet's basketball team overcome Evans by a margin of 62-46.

The Indians (14-11) will now prepare for their challenge against South Beauregard (Longville, LA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 13-11 record. In their last challenge, South Beauregard dropped by Iowa (Iowa, LA), 59-52, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Stanley Panthers (Logansport, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Evans will attempt to better on its 9-17 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 11-13 record after their 40-33 league loss to Converse (Converse, LA).
