In Friday's league contest, the visiting Grandfield Bearcats basketball team scored a big 48-14 triumph over the Temple Tigers.

The Bearcats (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Snyder (Snyder, OK). The Cyclones go into the non-league contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Snyder was trounced by Mountain View-Gotebo (Mountain View, OK), 57-23, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Navajo Indians (Altus, OK) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Temple will attempt to better on its 0-13 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 11-4 record after their 63-55 non-league win over Hobart (Hobart, OK).
