The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Salem Blue Devils (Salem, NH) and the visiting Keene Blackbirds (Keene, NH), observed Salem's basketball team overwhelm Keene by a score of 72-39.

The Blue Devils (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Nashua South (Nashua, NH). The Purple Panthers come into the Division I challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Nashua South was routed by Windham (Windham, NH), 49-36, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Blackbirds battle the Pinkerton Astros (Derry, NH) in a Division I challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Keene will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Astros come into the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 52-43 league win over Bishop Guertin (Nashua, NH).
