The Strother Yellowjackets basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Macomb Hornets to 37 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Allen for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Strother will play a Mustangs team coming off a 68-19 league win over Asher (Asher, OK). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Macomb falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Hornets host Butner (Cromwell, OK) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 2-12. Butner lost 67-6 in their recent league game against Weleetka (Weleetka, OK)
