In Friday's league contest, the visiting Murray Mustangs basketball team scored a good 45-30 win over the Moravia Mohawks.
The Mustangs (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 14-0 record. In their last contest, Mount Ayr defeated Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA), 68-30, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mohawks battle the Keota Eagles (Keota, IA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Moravia will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 6-9 record after their 55-13 non-league win over Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA).
