Nebraska High School Basketball - Perkins County can't hold off Wauneta-Palisade

Wauneta-Palisade Broncos (Wauneta, NE) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE), 51-48 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Wauneta-Palisade advances its record to 5-8 on the year. The Broncos host Garden County (Oshkosh, NE) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 3-6. Garden County won 57-23 in their recent league match against Minatare (Minatare, NE)

The Plainsmen now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holyoke for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28.
