The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Providence Academy Lions (Plymouth, MN) and the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MN), observed Providence Academy's basketball team overwhelm Princeton by a score of 102-31.
The Lions (15-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Park Center (Brooklyn Park, MN). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 3-13 record. In their last challenge, Park Center was routed by New Prague (New Prague, MN), 80-58, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN) in a AAA Section 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Princeton will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 87-33 league loss to Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN).
