California High School Basketball - University City succumbs to Scripps Ranch

January 17, 2025: San Diego, CA 92131

In Friday's league test, the Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA) basketball squad defeated the visiting University City Centurions (San Diego, CA), by a final score of 57-43.

Next, the Falcons clash with the Beverly Hills Normans (Beverly Hills, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 18. Scripps Ranch will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Normans come into the test with a 10-9 record after their 50-5 league loss to Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA).

The Centurions (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Calexico (Calexico, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Calexico overcame Palo Verde Valley (Blythe, CA), 47-39, in a league test.
