In Friday's league test, the St. Martin's Episcopal Saints (Metairie, LA) basketball squad trounced the host Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA), by a final score of 74-53.
Next, the Saints clash with the Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 21. St. Martin's Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record.
The Wildcats (5-7) will now prepare for their test against GEO Next Generation (Baton Rouge, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 17-6 record. In their last test, GEO Next Generation bounced Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA), 51-41, in a non-league test.
