The Wilburton Diggers basketball team scored 37 points and limited the host Wister Wildcats to 34 in the Diggers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Diggers now have a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Warner for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. Wilburton will confront a Eagles team coming off a 39-38 league loss to Central (Sallisaw, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 3-12.

With the loss, Wister falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Cameron (Cameron, OK) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a Green Valley game on Monday, January 20. The Yellow Jackets go into the game with a record of 6-9. Cameron won 51-13 in their recent league game against Bokoshe (Bokoshe, OK)
