The East Granby Crusaders basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host Somers Spartans to 35 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Crusaders now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host East Lyme for a non-league game on Monday, January 20.
With the loss, Somers falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Canton (Canton, CT) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 0-0.
