The Scorpions (11-1) will now prepare for their battle against Verrado (Buckeye, AZ). The Vipers enter the 5A Desert West battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Verrado was edged by Youngker (Buckeye, AZ), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Jaguars confront the Youngker Roughriders (Buckeye, AZ) in a 5A Desert West battle, on Tuesday, January 21. Canyon View will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Roughriders enter the battle with a 5-1 record after their 2-1 league win over Verrado (Buckeye, AZ).
