Fans at Friday's league battle between the Liberty Hawks (Madera, CA) and the visiting Riverdale Cowboys (Riverdale, CA), saw Liberty's soccer squad hold off Riverdale by a count of 3-2.

The Hawks (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Caruthers (Caruthers, CA). The Blue Raiders enter the Northwest Sequoia battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Caruthers was edged by Fresno Christian (Fresno, CA), 13-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Cowboys battle the Chowchilla Tribe (Chowchilla, CA) in a Northwest Sequoia battle, on Tuesday, January 21. Riverdale will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Tribe enter the battle with a 7-9 record after their 11-0 league win over Parlier (Parlier, CA).
