The Avon Lake Shoremen (Avon Lake, OH) ice hockey the visiting Westlake Demons (Westlake, OH), 8-6 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Shoremen now own a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kenston for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 18. Avon Lake will encounter a Bombers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Hudson (Hudson, OH). The Bombers record now stands at 15-5.

With the defeat, Westlake moves to 16-2 on the season. The Demons travel to Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH) to encounter the Bombers in a non-league outing on Saturday, January 18.
