The Benet Academy Redwings edged the host Walsh Jesuit Warriors ice hockey squad by a tally of 3-2 in Friday's non-league match.
Next, the Redwings clash with the Bowling Green Bobcats (Bowling Green, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 18. Benet Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Bobcats enter the match with a 16-8 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH).
The Warriors (15-9) will now prepare for their match against New Albany (New Albany, OH). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 18-2 record. In their last match, New Albany held off Benedictine (Cleveland, OH), 7-0, in a non-league match.
