Maryland High School Basketball - Meade holds off Atholton

The Meade Mustangs basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Atholton Raiders to 40 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they host North County for a game on Tuesday, January 21. Meade will confront a Knights team coming off a 31-26 non-league win over Glen Burnie (Glen Burnie, MD). The Knights record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Atholton falls to 8-3 on the campaign. The Raiders host River Hill (Clarksville, MD) to confront the Hawks in a game on Friday, January 24. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 3-0. River Hill won 49-37 in their recent non-league game against Hammond (Columbia, MD)
