California High School Basketball - Bear Creek holds off Weston Ranch

January 17, 2025: Stockton, CA 95206

The Bear Creek Bruins basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Weston Ranch Cougars to 63 in the Bruins league triumph on Friday.

The Bruins now possess a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Tokay for a game on Wednesday, January 22. Bear Creek will confront a Tigers team coming off a 49-40 league loss to McNair (Stockton, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-11.

With the loss, Weston Ranch falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Cougars host Encina (Sacramento, CA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 0-6. Encina lost 48-30 in their recent league game against Foresthill (Foresthill, CA)
