In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Gig Harbor Tides basketball team scored a good 64-47 triumph over the River Ridge Hawks.
The Tides (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Peninsula (Gig Harbor, WA). The Seahawks go into the non-league contest with a 1-13 record. In their last contest, Peninsula topped Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma, WA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Timberline Blazers (Lacey, WA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. River Ridge will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Blazers go into the contest with a 9-6 record after their 60-35 non-league win over Lincoln (Tacoma, WA).
