The Wayne Badgers (Bicknell, UT) basketball felled the visiting Altamont Longhorns (Altamont, UT), 53-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Badgers (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Green River (Green River, UT). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Green River was beaten by Pinnacle (Price, UT), 55-33, in a league test.

The Longhorns now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Vernon for a 1A Region 22 test on Friday, January 21. Altamont will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 67-30 league loss to Manila (Manila, UT). The Patriots record now stands at 2-9.
