The Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays basketball team (West Point, NE), was nudged 50-43 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Battle Creek Braves (Battle Creek, NE)
The Braves now possess a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laurel-Concord-Coleridge for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 20. Battle Creek will confront a Bears team coming off a 50-47 league win over Hartington-Newcastle (Hartington, NE). The Bears record now stands at 11-3.
The Bluejays (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against O'Neill (O'Neill, NE). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, O'Neill edged Wagner (Wagner, SD), 83-43, in a non-league battle.
