Illinois High School Basketball - Chicago Christian overwhelmed by Joliet Catholic

The Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Chicago Christian Knights to 36 in the Hilltoppers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hilltoppers now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carmel for a East Suburban Catholic contest on Friday, January 21. Joliet Catholic will battle a Corsairs team coming off a 82-22 non-league win over Westlake Christian Academy (Grayslake, IL). The Corsairs record now stands at 15-8.
The Knights (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL). The Knights come into the Metro Suburban contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, IC Catholic Prep triumphed over Westmont (Westmont, IL), 66-37, in a league contest.
