The Cleveland Central Wolves basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Ridgeland Titans to 41 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolves now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Cormorant for a 5A Region 2 contest on Friday, January 21. Cleveland Central will meet a team coming off a 52-39 non-league win over Hernando (Hernando, MS). The record now stands at 8-8.
The Titans (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS). The Rockets enter the 5A Region 3 contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Neshoba Central was nudged by Canton (Canton, MS), 50-45, in a league contest.
