Illinois High School Basketball - Lewistown knocked off by Delavan

The Delavan Panthers basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Lewistown Indians to 37 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenview for a Tomahawk contest on Wednesday, January 19. Delavan will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 54-16 league win over Decatur Christian (Forsyth, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-9.
The Indians (14-7) will now prepare for their contest against Brimfield (Brimfield, IL). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Brimfield ran past Williamsfield (Williamsfield, IL), 53-43, in a league contest.
