The Franklin Parish Patriots basketball team (Winnsboro, LA), was overwhelmed 77-41 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Wossman Wildcats (Monroe, LA)
The Wildcats now possess a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richwood for a 3A District 2 battle on Friday, January 21. Wossman will confront a Rams team coming off a 73-68 league win over Sterlington (Sterlington, LA). The Rams record now stands at 8-9.
The Patriots (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against Alexandria (Alexandria, LA). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 20-3 record. In their last battle, Alexandria trounced Pineville (Pineville, LA), 73-51, in a league battle.
