The Plainfield Panthers basketball team (Central Village, CT), was nudged 49-43 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT)
The Lancers now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodstock Academy for a Eastern Connecticut II battle on Friday, January 21. Waterford will confront a Centaurs team coming off a 43-41 non-league loss to Windham (Willimantic, CT). The Centaurs record now stands at 1-6.
The Panthers (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Griswold (Griswold, CT). The Wolverines come into the Eastern Connecticut I battle with a 1-5 record.
