Bensalem Fighting Owls (Bensalem, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host North Penn Knights (Lansdale, PA), 59-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bensalem upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Fighting Owls host Pennridge (Perkasie, PA) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 20. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Pennridge won 65-56 in their recent non-league bout against Council Rock South (Holland, PA)

Next up, the Knights play the Council Rock North Indians (Newtown, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 21. North Penn will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 51-33 non-league loss to Central Bucks West (Doylestown, PA).
