The Gogebic [Johnston/Wakefield] Miners basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Chassell Panthers to 37 in the Miners league victory on Tuesday.
The Miners now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dollar Bay for a Copper Mountain contest on Friday, January 21. Gogebic [Johnston/Wakefield] will battle a Bays team coming off a 62-30 non-league loss to Hancock (Hancock, MI). The Bays record now stands at 2-5.
The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Johnston (Bessemer, MI). The Speedboys come into the contest with a 0-2 record.
