The Schlarman Hilltoppers basketball team (Danville, IL), was overwhelmed 72-17 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Cissna Park Timberwolves (Cissna Park, IL)

The Timberwolves now possess a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakwood for a Vermilion Valley battle on Monday, January 24.

The Hilltoppers (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Milford (Milford, IL). The Bearcats come into the Vermilion Valley battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, Milford trounced Donovan/St. Anne (Donovan, IL), 35-14, in a non-league battle.
