    The Riggs Governors basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Douglas Patriots to 14 in the Governors league triumph on Tuesday.

    The Governors now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brandon Valley for a AA contest on Friday, January 21. Riggs will meet a Lynx team coming off a 54-22 league win over Douglas (Box Elder, SD). The Lynx record now stands at 7-1.

    The Patriots (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD). The Broncs enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Belle Fourche triumphed over Hill City (Hill City, SD), 58-50, in a league contest.
