The All Saints Central Cougars (Bay City, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Ashley Bears (Ashley, MI), 73-36 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Cougars (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Owendale-Gagetown (Owendale, MI). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Owendale-Gagetown was trounced by Akron-Fairgrove (Fairgrove, MI), 58-14, in a league test.
The Bears now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Sacred Heart Academy for a Mid-State test on Friday, January 20. Ashley will encounter a Irish squad coming off a 61-28 non-league loss to Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Irish record now stands at 6-3.
