Texas High School Basketball - St. Mark's thwarts Cistercian

The St. Mark's Lions (Dallas, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Cistercian Hawks (Irving, TX), 56-46 in Wednesday's league test.
The Lions (16-11) will now prepare for their test against Trinity Christian (Addison, TX). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 26-7 record. In their last test, Trinity Christian went down by John Paul II (Plano, TX), 60-54, in a league test.
The Hawks now own a 9-12 record. They play next when they host Fort Worth THESA for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Cistercian will encounter a Riders squad coming off a 58-57 non-league loss to Trinity Valley (Fort Worth, TX). The Riders record now stands at 9-19.
