Wellesley Raiders (Wellesley, MA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Concord-Carlisle Patriots (Concord, MA), 51-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wellesley upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Walpole (Walpole, MA) to play the Timberwolves in a Bay State - Herget bout on Friday, January 20. The Timberwolves come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Walpole lost 99-93 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop Feehan (Attleboro, MA)

Next up, the Patriots play the Acton-Boxborough Colonials (Acton, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Concord-Carlisle will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Colonials come into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 51-46 non-league loss to Bedford (Bedford, MA).
