Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Wiscasset Wolverines (Wiscasset, ME), 93-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dirigo upgrades its record to 14-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Winthrop (Winthrop, ME) to play the Ramblers in a C South bout on Saturday, January 21. The Ramblers come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Winthrop won 54-42 in their recent league bout against North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME) in a C South bout, on Saturday, January 21. Wiscasset will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
