The Winfield Warriors basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Duchesne Pioneers to 42 in the Warriors non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Warriors now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Point for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Winfield will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 58-31 non-league loss to Louisiana (Louisiana, MO). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-4.
The Pioneers (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop DuBourg (St. Louis, MO). The Cavaliers come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Bishop DuBourg prevailed over Christian School District (O'Fallon, MO), 46-25, in a league contest.
