Fairfield Prep Jesuits (Fairfield, CT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Norwich Free Academy Wildcats (Norwich, CT), 64-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fairfield Prep upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Jesuits travel to Notre Dame (West Haven, CT) to play the Green Knights in a Freelance bout on Friday, January 20. The Green Knights go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Notre Dame won 76-56 in their recent non-league bout against West Haven (West Haven, CT)

Next up, the Wildcats play the St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut I bout, on Friday, January 20. Norwich Free Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 2-1 league loss to East Lyme (East Lyme, CT).
